I am a freelance audio producer and production manager with a background in anthropology. I am originally from Essex but currently live in London.
I have created radio documentaries for BBC Radio 4 and have produced podcasts for independent creatives, organisations and charities. I am an experienced production manager and have played an integral part in the creation of many audio drama productions for the BBC and Audible.
My most recent audio feature for BBC Radio 4 A Recipe for Recovery was selected as Radio 4 Pick of the Week and featured as Pick of the Day in The Radio Times, The Sunday Times and The Daily Mail.
I am interested in audio storytelling that gets to the heart of makes us human. I want to make work that allows us to learn from each other, understand one another better and connect on a deeper level. I love the magic and intimacy of using audio as a medium to create documentaries, it is storytelling in it's purest form and can encourage imagination and empathy.
I am currently studying part time (one day per week) on the MA Audio Storytelling course at UCL, for which I received a full scholarship. It is a unique opportunity to have the time and space to expand my creative practice.
I co-host a monthly music and chat radio show called Destination Unknown on community station RTM.
